A TIP42A/B/C will suffice, the regulator you can get from Farnell's

PM if you have a problem 8)

i went to the farnell site but i would have to export the regulator from the UK. Would anyone by the way happen to have one lying around?

I purchased a handful of 7806's from a local surplus house here several years ago. I just called and he still has them in stock. email me and I'll pass along the phone number - wa2ekl@arrl.net
