need help Colour Maximite Computer

I have a Colour maximite computer I need to check the PIC32 ColourMM Firmware I connect the PICKIT2 to the CON7 in the Maximite and a box message is PICkit2 voltage level error check target & retry operation I close the box and the next message from the PICkit 2 is No device detected Ensure proper capacitance on VDDCORE/VCAP pin
I check the pin 2 in the CON7 there is 3.2volts
I just found out I can not program the PIC32MX795F512L with the PICKit2 can you tell me what programmer I can use

Maybe your pulling too much current from the pickit.
Tell mplab if thats what your using not to power the pic in the settings menu for the programmer or debugger, and try again (with the apllication powered up), the pickit might be fighting with your application circuit trying to power it at a different voltage.
