need temperature sensor for above 1500 degrees Fahrenheit

We are doing one mini project in our college, for that we have to sense temperature-out of an induction heater (above 1500 degrees Fahrenheit).
Kindly guide us to get suitable sensor type and give its price/data sheet details also.

Perhaps a thin-film sensor or a contactless iR solution might be the way to go.
