Hello everybody,

My first post here. :)

I am looking to build a 9.1 GHz Microwave cavity/emitter. I have no experience with :mu: wave design. Can somebody please point to to a few resources and if possible help me design the source and the cavity?

Thanks!

I'm guessing that the CAD tools and the test equipment you need, not to mention the machine shop and the materials are going to be just a bit out of your price range. The people who know how to do this stuff don't come cheap and they don't post their stuff on the net. You probably need to budget about 0.25 Megabucks.

I would suggest one of the free RF design trade magazines. Mini-Circuits has all kinds of goodies I would start there.
