It is a black 40 pin dip with this manufacture symbol on it Code: ~ ~ one squiggly on top of the other. i have seen it before, but i can't think of what manufacture that is... the only things that are on the chip are Code: +B8444 4000/C00A/14 02-849-37 and on the underside of the chip it says Code: L-47633(F) MJH Just curious. edit: it is also plastic.

T Tarsil New Member Jan 9, 2008 #6 Prob is a industrial or internal code. U could search at the company that made the equipment. Pretend u want to repair it. Usualy u get no answer....but ... I got a small bag of unindentified IC's...like a HUGE-M10 for example
