No output on car amp

Not sure if this is the right forum but I have a Skar rp-3500.10 amp. Powers up fine but no output to speakers. Opened it up and found this. It's labeled L5 on the board so I figure it's a blown inductor? Any help would be appreciated.

Are the scratch marks around L5 from you taking it off? If not, do you know if it has worked since anyone else last opened it up.

That component is far too small to be in the main current path for anything that powers the speaker.

My guess would be that it's part of a boost converter which is there to provide gate drive for some of the MOSFETs. I would also guess that it is very unlikely to be the first item to fail, and that a MOSFET or two failed, causing L5 to burn out.

Scratch marks are from me. Most likely your right. I'm going to pull it out and test. I'm pretty new to this though. In your opinion is it worth the trouble as a amateur or best to just buy a new amp?

I would test the main power MOSFETs, and also trace the circuit around L5.

I can't say if trying to fix it is worthwhile for you as that depends on so many things, like what equipment and skills you have.
