hello all
i'm working on a sharp filter for 187KHZ and 230KHZ frequency with a not high Q (10-15) i thoght maybe a notch filter would be the best.... is there anyone that can help me with this circuit design? or is there any circuit suggested for this design?

Are you wanting two seperate notches?, or just a bandwidth filter 43KHz wide?.

I would suggest you buy a copy of either the ARRL or RSGB handbooks - essential reading for almost everyone on these forums!.

Either of those books would help you - but essentially just series resonant circuits are what you need. To calculate them use:

F = 1/(2 x PI x Square Root (L x C))

What are you trying to do though?.

thanx alot eric the informations were exactly what i wanted to know

nigel thanx for ur attention... it's a simple sender and reciever but it should be very sharp on these frequencys and i didn't know anything about filters:))
anyway thanx
