Hey guyz I've got a project to design an operational amplifier with bjt using bipolar supply and there should as minimum components with max gain possible.. kindly help ,its about 30 marks!!!
Some (many) op-amps have a schematic in the data sheet. The schematic is not exactly how the amplifier is built but close.
Choose a high speed amplifier because the amplifier is simple compared to a high gain (slow) amplifier. You probably should choose an older part. (FJT not MOS)
Try reading up on a "Long Tail Pair" using matched transistors. Once you have this sussed then you have solved the majority of problems involving diff amps. I leave to you to work out how the drop the output impedance and give a "single ended" output.
