Found in a local second hand shop, no battery , no power supply
with cassete tape inside. Sold as not working for a few pounds.

Tried external power supply to no avail, any thoughts or better still
a series of schematic diagrams much appriciated. Failing that...
It appears I have a bit of a project for the long winter evenings ahead.

No obvious signs of physical trauma, no scrapes to the case and nothing rattles when I shake it.

Open her up and get a good look at what's inside. Someone may have dropped it in water or something and dried it out.

Will have an autopsy this weekend , sooner if I can clear a space on the bench. Having a spot of bother with a DVD/CD burner at the moment
... disc shattered inside, still trying to recover all the pieces of plastic.
