PCB battery replacement - determining type

The 1/3N was a miss type on my part I ment 1/3AA, but it's not. I double checked and the dimensions you gave were from 2/3AA, general concession seems to lean towards NiCads.

Again though the Cell size A C N whatever has nothing to do with the voltage of the cell, that is completely determined by chemistry.
