PCB Layout softwares are unecessarily difficult to use?

I used Pulsonix back in 2009, and couldn't find any 'external' tutorial materials.......all I found was the sparkfun forum.....where a guy would always respond to my questions with "its all in the manual".
It didn't help.
I used Cadstar in 2010 and found few 'external' tutorials etc...............I did get forum help in places, but often couldn't understand the replies.

One reason that there are more 'external' tutorials for the inexpensive products is because of who is doing many of the tutorials. Quite often it is hobbyists.

The people using the more expensive packages are more likely to be professionals, for whom time is money. They get paid to design boards, not create youtube videos.
