please oblige and allow files compressed using winrar also uploadable . Till now only winzip is permitted. some members have trouble due to this.
Shall we have the discussion here, then it will be a shame if the free 7z format is omitted. 7z provide an overall compression that is better than both zip and rar.
the whole issue arose as i did not have for some time winzip . i was trying to upload rar and there is no such facility.
As some indicated , it is not question of which is superior. But once sent on site, the receiving member should be able to use it, especially some .exe files , find easier by zip
