It is likely to be JST, but they have many similar products that are different from each other.

The first thing to look at is the pitch. That is the center to center spacing of the pins. Then go to the following web site to find the connector that matches that and any other details that are important.

What device was this connector from? Measure from center to center of the two pins. If you have a caliper or micrometer, what is the size of each square pin on the male connector?

It is for rc cars. The size of each square pin on the male connector is 2.0 mm.
