Hello all, new to the forums, and I have a question on how I should go about designing a simple photoMOS circuit. This is what I want to do:
I need to take a variable voltage input from a piezoelectric element, and turn this into a simple on/off relay output(the output just needs to connect and disconnect a simple 2 wire circuit, milliamps in load). Input sensitivity adjustment would be ideal as well, so light impacts on the piezo wont false trigger. 9v DC or less input voltage so batteries can be used. With my basic knowledge of electronic circuits, it seems i need to build an amplifier pre-stage for the piezo, so it can turn the LED on and off in the photoMOS chip. Any advise, component types and values, diagrams, would be greatly appreciated!!
