You can get the trial version of the Oshonsoft Simulator , 28 days or 30 startups, to evaluate the program.

You are correct.

The Oshonsoft sim is one of the lowest cost programs on the market.

IMHO its well worth the few $$$, its kept up to date and includes a wide range of PICs.

If you buy the basic sim, you can always buy the add ons later, also you will qualify for 'bundle' deals.

If you are a student then your university will provide you access to these software's.Ask them, that's how i got to work on Proteus and C18.
