PIC16484 LCD counter

Hey all.. I was wonderin if you guys could help me out with my project. does anyone here have a code for displayin a countdown timer on an LCD? the LCD im usin is 4x20. Its a 4 liner LCD with a 20 character capacity. please help me out. Thanks.

First you will need Microchips MPLAB software.
Install all of it, including USB items.

I like MiSim for writing code for the 16f84, it also has a plugin for the hd44780 LCD. I found this plugin to save a lot of time since I could test my code before building the actual circuit.
