PIC18F4550 and LabView

Hi,

I'm trying to make my PIC reply to the *IDN? command, but no idea in how to do that, so far I was able to turn ON and OFF some LEDs using a small Visual Basic program, but my main goal is to do that through LabView. The PIC communicate with PC through USB, as I can control it using the VB program I assume that the PIC firmware is OK, but I need more guidelines, what i have to change or implement, thank you

Somehow, I think you want the PIC to be an IEEE 488.2 device. See IEEE 488.2 Common Commands

IEEE 488 is now commonly implemented through the USB bus although it had it own connector and electrical protocol.
