Please Allow Me to Introduce Myself

I'mClueless, as you will soon know, and I have joined this forum in hopes of expanding my limited knowledge of electronics.

My current project is building a portable welder comprised of a 25HP Kohler engine and a 270 Amp Leece Neville alternator. I intend to use the machine for TIG, aka heli arc, welding so I had to build what is referred to as a High Frequency Starter box which I have completed. Up to this point I have not exceeded my limited knowledge of electronics but I have a feeling that it won't be to long before I return asking for your help.
