Hello

I am trying to understand all about PAssive filters.But i need to get my very basics clear before moving onto design of filters.

Can someone suggest some websites where i cud get all infos on the

1.terms used and their definitions

2.what is approximation?butterworth,bessel...

Was that link any help.

I was doing a study on passive filters a few weeks ago and spent alot of time on google. Although I never bookmarked any of the sites.

Give me a little bit and I might find them again.

i am actually trying to understand what these approximations are?bessel,butterworth...
i know what the order of filter means depends on the no of reactive components.fine.
