hi pips.. im planning to create a power supply that has a 220v ac input and a selection of (5,10,12 volts dc) output.. i want to incorporate it with a switch selector so that i could just choose what output i want .. either 5v,10v or 12v. i dont want to use a potentiometer cause it takes time to get a specific voltage.. e.g. 5v. can anyone give me schematic diagrams.. please help.. thanks..

Just use a 60hz (maybe 50hz where you live?) transformer, diode bridge, and 3 linear regulators.

Then you can use a mechanical switch to switch between the outputs.

thanks for all your replies..
