guys i'm an ece student and we are making our project in electronics which is power supply...

we are required to make a power supply having an output of:

+15 V,-15 V, 5 v, and variable ranging to 0-20 V...

the input ac voltage here in the phillippines is 220V ac....

guys, help us in making schematic diagram using ic voltage regulator and there's an transistor current booster... having a reset button on each output supply and finally there's a relay for protection if the supply output will be short...

thanks....:)

All the students in every country are making the same simple project.
They should all get together and ask their teachers HOW MUCH CURRENT!

None of their teachers has showed them the datasheet of a regulator IC that has the parts of their project on it.

Now, now, don't knock the teachers! - it may well be that the students don't pay any attention to their classes!. When we were there you had no choice, no Internet!, so you couldn't try and cheat by getting other people to do the work for you!.

Good idea in theory.
One problem is they don't exactly fit together. :mu:f
