Power supply

I'm building a small appliance that requires two 60-80mm cooling fans. What type of power supply would be most practical to use? (and where could I get it?)

The most practical power supply would be one that provides the proper voltage for the fans, with adequate current.

How do you interpret "practical"? Will a wall-wart do?

Looks like a DC computer fan size. Look at the fan specifications required voltage/current. Give the supply in Parallel to both fans.

500mA transformer is more than enough I believe.

"Practical" meaning size, not too bulky. I'm trying too keep it a small as the design will allow.

If it is too small like the size of an old VGA card fan size then a mobile phone charger with a 7.2V /350mA can supply to your fans.
