Programable Relay

I would wonder if there are somebody here had already used a programmable relay on a real practice. I found it really promising in a future. Anyway whatever or whoever have some comment in accord the theme please give it to here.
 
the relay always obeys any command you want.
all you have to do is use a circuit to determine the action of the relay
a normal relay has normally open and normally closed which makes it flexible

all you need to do is know how to program and how to build circuits
 
yes i work in industrial automation and we use a lot of programmable relay for small jobs (it starts at around 80$ us with LCD display), if we must make math and analog then we go with small plcs. In fact we dont use external timers, counters and relays for logic sequence anymore
