project in fpga implementation??

hi,
i am jeny.,a final year student...i wish to do my project in vlsi....i heard in vlsi fpga is the field best suited to work in vlsi....any suggestions???
could u pls help me find some project topic(with full details of circuit and other stuff avalable) in fpga implementation??
could any one suggest websites which are open sources of famous universities which contains full details of projects done there?
it would be helpful if u could help me in 2 days as i need 2 fix my topic
