Does any one in here know the data rate speed in which the data is sent back and forth between the sender and receiver on the PS 3 controller. Also, in what frequency is this happening?

How is the handshaking done with this? I know the PS 3 use Blue Tooth Technology.

If indeed it is Bluetooth, it uses spread spectrum communications - the transceivers "hop" between several frequencies. The frequencies are in the 2 GHz band space. I don't remember the data rate.

It's been a while since I've looked at the specs and, at the moment, I can't find the downloaded docs. I'll probably need to dl it again when I need it.

You can get the Bluetooth "core" specification from bluetooth.org. It's a bit of a read, though.
