Hi!

Can anyone tell me what the difference between the QT113 and QT160 is?
Can i use the QT160 which i have available for the same purpose? making touchbuttons
I dont know HOW to use it yet, but i couldnt get the QT113 anywhere... :)

Thanks!
Anders

Have you looked at the data sheets? Very important to learn how they function and how to implement them. The QT113 is a single channel and the QT160 is a 6 channel.

Hi!
I havnt yet..im such a beginner so i shouldnt really do this advanced stuff, but i really want to.
i guess i can find someone who made something like this and copy the circuit

If you look at the datasheets you will find examples of circuits. ATMEL took over the QPROX line of touch ICs. Check their site for information: Atmel Products - Buttons, Sliders & Wheels - Datasheets

I used a QT110 to make a touch-start control for an animated/lighted Geology display.
