It looks good if you want to install you operating system on it but it seems a waste for temporary files which you're not bothered about loosing when the power goes down.

That is what i was talking about before. Fill it up with ram, and viola! Instant solid-state sata hd!
 
Do those ram drives use the PSU to retain data even after the computer has shut down (assuming the main power switch is still on)?

EDIT: Nvm, it does.
