Random programming question

This isn't uC related, but I'd like to program something in VB6 (or any other visual studio 6 language). I want to click on the program icon, have it pop up a text box where I can type up a message like "Out to Lunch" or "Personal Errand, Back at 3:45" and have it 1) send that message in an email to my boss and 2) display it as my screensaver on my computer for anyone else who comes looking for me. I am using MS Outlook 2003 if that helps any.

I am not a fan of VB but this VBS seems to do what you ask (at least for sending an email)

You should'nt be far off from getting what you want.

Of course depending on what security level you have set in your OS will depend on whether it lets you run scripts like this.
