receiver sensor

Any one knows?

I would like to connect a second sensor (paralel) of TSOP 17xx (it has three connectors GND,Vs,Out). Would that work to use in other room like remote extender?

The second TSOP 17xx IR receiver IC can receive the remote control IR pulses in the same room as the remote, then its output can be wired to the other room where it can modulate an IR transmitter that has a 38kHz oscillator.
