So what I'm confused about is, if its rated for 16A 250VAC, that equates to 16x250 = 4000W, they refer to it as 4000VA / 480W? Isn't 480W @ 250V = 1.92A?
I need a relay to which a 800W 220V inductive load (metal Halide Light), so this won't work?
16A x 30V = 480W (It is the DC rating). I think you halide lamp ballast is an inductive load, so it will work for that application (i.e. the inductive current is less than 8A).
