Repairing Dreambox DM500s

Hello guys,
Last week i got a faulty dreambox from a friend which had its power supply input burnt! The parts i need to change D46, C421, maybe the L404 inductor, C422 and i dont know if C400 needs to be changed!

My question is if it's possible to override this circuit, create a new pcb only for the power supply input and then connect it to the rest pcb! Or if this cant happen, can you suggest me a nice one soldering station @ ebay to buy SMD parts?

Don't even waste your time, just replace it they are only a tenner!

well it's not about the money or if it's worth to repair it. I want to repair it because i've never got involved with SMD components! So it's a little bit adventure for me!

you may need to replace the ic too............

I'll give it a try tomorrow! A friend of my uncle is owner of an electronics industry here and they have a lot of personel and devices to fix them! At least they will tell me how to fix it
