Hi, so I have a QPAD QH-90 gaming headset that I am trying to repair. From the headset is a cable that then splits into a TRS plug for audio, and one for the microphone. The cable for the microphone broke behind the plug, so I was going to solder on a new plug. But the wires inside doesn't look like they usually do. There are two different colors of copper wire that were twisted around each other. One is red, and one is copper colored, and there's some fuzz too.

My question is which goes where on a TRS plug? Pictures attached

Jack has 2 solder tabs which are the centre wires (2=Left+right). The braided shield goes to the 3rd solder point (common gnd) which also has the crimps that hold the cable tight.
