Please examine the output transistors in the diagram below:

The upper two output transistors are called out as PNPs, yet they face a positive voltage. How can this be? What should the four output transistors be? (Note that even the text refers to PNPs, yet there doesn't seem to be a place for PNPs.)

Look how they are connected, the emitters go to the positive, it's a simple H-bridge. Top two are PNP, and bottom two NPN, this is how it should be.
