Resource for designing Electromagnetic Coils - Wire Size, current, number of turns?

I'd like to build some EM coils for an electromagnetic Launcher I'm planning on building.

Does anyone know of a resource, or program that I can plug in parameters like number of turns, wire size, current, resultant EM field?
This should have all been done before! Thanks!!!

The magnetic field strength of a solenoid coil is given as "Ampere-turns"; literally coil current * number of turns in the coil.
