What I want to do is make a remote with 1 button (YES, it does have a good reason for only one!) and a receiver on a picaxe 28X1. what I want to know is using this module and this module to send and recive a 1. very simpol, but not for me. will these codes work.

Send: high 3 pause 3 low 3 pause 1 serout 3,N2400, ( b0)

Receive: serin 7, N2400, b0
 
Hi,

Those modules do work well, however you have to use The Manchester protocol otherwise your signals just get lost.
See Nigels tutorial for details
Also search if you want the code in C, there are some examples out there.
