Hello Electro-Tech community,
I had a small fire occur within a pile of 8 old emergency lights that had the lead acid batteries still inside each one. The lights had been removed from the wall earlier in the day. Terminals were NOT touching one another - batteries were just kept connected inside each fixture. Any thoughts on why there would be a short and/or combustion development?
