Hello

Looking for some help with the electronics for an LED bike light circuit.

Idea is the resin the LEDs into the seat post and handlebars, use a reed switch and magnet as an on off button and two contact points to charge the lights via USB.

Hoping to use 0.5-1W surface mount LEDs.

I've done some simple circuits but not sure the best way to go about this, especially Re a usb charging option.

The idea is to resin the unit into the seat post to its invisible until the lights go on.

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Happy to share the physical design - will be CNC or Lasercut based.

Best

Tom

Nice idea, but if the handlebars or seat post are steel tube you won't be able to use an internal reed switch and exterior magnet .
