I'm looking for a suitable servo controller for use in a race car that has an electronic throttle. The throttle has a DC motor and as far as I can determine it would draw peak currents of about 20A when moving quickly, but most of the time it would only draw a couple amps.
I have a voltage input from my accelerator pedal and a voltage output from the throttle itself (they are simple, ordinary pots mechanically connected to the pedal and throttle).
Are there any companies you could recommend that make servo products I could use for this?
