Setting fuses ATmega16M1

Hello I am new here and I am a beginner and I have a problem , I am building a controller for an EV from an open resource plan , for this I need to program an ATmega16M1
I use AVRDUDE but the fuse settings are not clear to me in the instructions it says : Fuses : 8Mhz+ external crystal with 0ms startup time , CKDIV8 off , brownout 2.7v
I bricked one chip already because I do not really know what I am doing
Can somebody please help me?

I don't know about the fuses, but I set this AVR Fuse Calculator to your MPU. Maybe you can learn from it.
