Hi folks, in our small chemical lab, we have a Rotavapor (R-151, made by "Buchi"). The main motor is not running as he receives no energy from the motor controll unit. On this motor control unit (build before 1991) is only 1 IC.
It is the "SGS 88614". I think it was designed by SGS THompson, who is now ST Microelectronics. I talked to 3 support guys at STM, but no one knew what this IC is about.
Does anyone knows what the SGS 88614 is doing?
Thanks a lot in advance
Jens
