Simple LED project help

Hi there

I am currently trying to control 4 LEDs using a pic16F628. The different effects are cycled through using a switch. The LEDs are connected to RB0....RB3 and the switch is triggering RA1.
Can anybody help me with a circuit diagram for this? i cant get it to work. Thanks

Post a circuit diagram showing how you have the LED's connected to the PIC.

Do have resistors in series with the LED's.??

You need a resistor to pull the switch pin up.

Yes i have resistors in series with the leds, and one in series with the switch

In addition to the circuit, you need to show the program used to run the circuit. It is possible to have some problem due to that also.
