Simple sawtooth generator schematic simulation question

I've tried to play a bit with the passives values of this circuit and I obtained max 2kHz freq signal.
Do you think that using this circuit I can obtain a 70kHz signal?
Would you suggest another kind of simple circuite for the purpose?

Or a smaller peak to peak voltage.

The equation says it all:
I * t = C * V, and since t= 1/f, then:
f = I /(C * V)

Where did the OP get this schematic? I doesn't work to begin with.

I reduced the voltage to 6, reduced the timing resistor and used diff. transistors. Works now at 387Hz. I think to reach 70KHz this circuit is gonna have to change a-lot.
