Simple timer circuit project

Need help with a circuit that should be simple please.

Circuit 1 has 14VDC continuous with a switch in circuit and switch on. Circuit 2 has 14VDC continuous when a condition is met. When condition is fixed, if I open and close circuit 1, then circuit 2 is reset (no 14VDC) until condition is met again. Need 5 to 6 second timer to delay open of circuit 1 and then 3 second to delay close of circuit 1 so circuit 2 is reset. Circuit 2 will lose 14VDC as soon ans circuit 1 is open but need the 3 second until circuit 1 is closed again.

Played with relays and 555 but can't figure how to keep power going through 555 for the 3 seconds until red/wh back closed using circuit 2 as power source and signal.

If you can help out it would be greatly appreciated

More Info:
They are on a truck. Circuit 1 is the PTO power...from a switch. Circuit 2 is on 87A of a relay thats normally not hot unless PTO is on and someone trips a condition that turns PTO off such as hitting the brake pedal. truck will not resume on its own after that, it needs manual cycle of switch which is annoying. Currently when switch is flipped on in circuit 1, under normal operating conditions, 87A gets 14V for 3 seconds then nothing (3 second timer in the circuit 2 also). Hope you understand

I don't really want to have to program micro controllers so if it can be done component wise would be best but I would like to see different methods if possible. Thanks

Having difficulty following your set-up. Can you post a schematic of what you've tried so far?

Ok, let's try.

Circuit 1 is just a wire for example. It has an on/off switch.
When you turn switch on the circuit has 14vdc until switch is turned off.

Circuit 2 is a wire that is connected to let's say a push button that is on until button is pressed
It also has 14v. It has relay and a 3 sec timer on it. 87a on relay is empty atm.

When switch is turned on and push button is not pressed circuit 1 has 14v until switch is turned off. At that time the circuit2 relay 87A has 14v until 3 sec timer runs out then 0v.

If push button gets pushed it trips relay in circuit 2 so 87A has 14v. This will remain, even tho push button is released, until switch is cycled. It then requires switch cycle to start over again.

I want the circuit 1 to open and close by reading voltage on 87a of relay in circuit 2.

Delay is there so the 3 sec timer will work. Everything should check out and cut 555 off before the 5 seconds can trip circuit 1 again.

Here is a falstad link to the current original setup and showing where trigger for new circuit comes from.

Links don't work

Let us attempt your need, one by one and decipher what u want to achieve.

Do you know what a relay is?
Do you know that the relay can be latched by its own contact once operated?

I think I found a circuit that will work but need advice on changing something in it. I do know what a relay is and how it works but a relay alone wont work the way the current system is setup with a 3 sec timer already on it. the relay would stay hot for a split second and reset the system. relay would sit there and click forever. Need a 555 to get past the orig 3 second timer before triggering its output and a relay and if voltage is lost (due to orig 3 sec timer doing its job and system working normally) to quit and not trigger its output or relay. It also needs to start counting when triggered by a voltage source (87A). So same voltage source triggers it (14V) and keeps it from triggering (0V).

Here is the circuit, just need a voltage trigger instead of a ground trigger. it needs a constant voltage source and triggered by another source that might go off in 3 seconds and stop the first 555 timer or not go off and let the 555's continue. After 555B triggers it needs to run for the 2 seconds to reset the system correctly.

Thanks for all the help guys and sorry for being so confusing. This system I got is kind of hard to explain.

I might have figured it out guys. Check this out and see what you think.

n005 represents voltage output at 87A the way it works now.
n013 is the output from 555A
n011 is the output of 555B

I put the voltage of 87A circuit at 14V and the new timers at 12V so you can see the traces better in the graph.

Now looking at this I think I can make this work with just 1 timer but not sure. Lemme hear your thoughts please.
