explain me in detail....if we increase the frequency then size of the transformer will be reduced but there will be more heat loss .....i need a better info about its construction and what kind of transformer model can be used? it should be economically feasible and light weight
If the transformer runs at the power line frequency, there's nothing you can do to reduce its size. As dknguyen noted, to reduce the transformer size you would need to go with a line powered switching regulator that operates at a higher frequency than the line.
If you cut the transformer in half that will reduce the size (ha ha). Ok, you want to reduce the size AND keep it working
Seriously though, if you have the design max'ed out already it may be very difficult to make any significant reduction in size. Perhaps you can post a rough schematic. Going to higher permeability core material would help but you probably already have a high mu core or nearly so.
