Wow! I hit that suspect pretty early in the thread. Post #6. Before we knew there was an IAC.

We had them imported to this country as well. Let me tell you, one of the worst coming to these latitudes just behind the Romanian or Jugoslavian version of the Renault 12 immediately followed by Suzuki Maruti from India.

Today you could see some Lada trucks still around. The rest has literally vanished.
