Hello,

I wonder if anyone could help,
I'm trying to make a 100ohm resistors,
so, I use lead of graphite
but, The object end in failure:(
so I don't reconcile theory and practice

Somebody might already know the best idea to use.

& Do you have any idea that make a 100ohm resitor?

hi,:)

What are you going to use these home made resistors for.?

This is My first project for homemade resistor. but. All attempts have proved abortive.

You have not answered my question.:)

If you are trying to make resistors from pencil lead, its not pure graphite

How are you making your measurements? Terminating the ends of a pencil lead would prove problematic, but could be done. This is for school I would guess.

At this point I bet you are saying, "I should have picked the blue project"...
Sorry, Matrix movie joke.

but, Only make use of some pencil or any object
Why can't you comply with a simple request? Why should we help someone who is so uncooperative?

Why can't you buy some 100Ω resistors which are very cheap?

I've made my own caps before. Sheets of copy paper with aluminum foil. Pouring cooking oil over them increased the capacitance. They were in the ten nanofarad range.

Hi again,

I think there might be a little bit of a language barrier here.

OK there is no need that you have to make a 100 ohm resistor by carbon.
you can also make using nicrome wire.
so you procure a wirewound resistor of 500 ohms 2 watt. carefully remove the outer paint coating and if you get access to removing around30% of the wire from there,
oyou can perhaps wind it on another small ceramic rod . at the ends toy have to grip the nicrome wire cleaned and immediately twist it with say 19 swg bare copper wire and have two or three rounds and tighten.
But beware, this nicrome wire oxidizes as fast you try to clean it.
very difficult to handle without oxidization

A laborious process.
