Sony HDR-XR-200 GPS Module

Hello, I just removed a GPS module from a SONY video camera, the module has 6 pins!! I estimate that they are VDD, GND, RX, TX, SCL, SDA, the two central ones must be power due to their thickness, but it doesn't tell me any information, does anyone know this module and can tell me the pinout? It is to be used in betaflight!

You could take the metal shield off and see if it has a recognisable chipset?
 
The part# A1665623A and it's id is GP 026 - get the service manual for the camera and see if it gives any info.

It won't be a bought in ready made module, it's either been built by Sony, or built for Sony, and in either case there won't be any data available, why would there be? - it's not for sale, so no datasheet, and no need for one.

As with any manufacturer, if you need a replacement one you order it as a spare part from the manufacturer - there certainly won't info available on how to use it somewhere else.

It's doubtful the service manual, if available, would be any help - most likely it's just shown as a complete module, with a Sony part number. 'Recent' Sony manuals, as with most others, often don't give any schematics at all.
 
Quite selfish on the part of the manufacturers!! It is a fairly old and obsolete module, which I paid for a while ago, Now think, what does Sony lose by making a module open to the public, like the hundreds of modules with i2c and UART protocols that are out there?It's a privacy thing, I understand, but privacy for what, to be unique, sometimes they get confused when they are too successful!! Surely they will wonder, why don't you buy one suitable for what you want and that's it, it's true, but if you like inventions,...You will know that this is a passion, and more than that, a childish craving,‍, But hey, sometimes it gets difficult!!
 

Nothing of the kind, no manufacturer makes parts of their products available for the public to use, as suggested above try and see what chip it uses, and see if you can find a datasheet for the chip.
