need several 25K duel pots. Have several 10K pots and am contemplating subbing parts.
Will the pic on left work as well as the pic on the right?
this is for a stereo Tilt EQ unit
would save buying new pots.

design range

using a 25K pot (can't locate a 25K 2 gang pot) has a range of 23hz to 23820hz according to application notes for the AND8177/D
the same circuit using a 50K pot has a range of 25hz to 21267hz
range ids determined by capacitor values.
a 100k pot =12hz to 18045
wish I could locate some 25K pots 2 gang

I believe a 10K pot would work if you also reduce the other resistor values by a factor of 1/2.5= .4, and increase the capacitor values by a factor of 2.5 (use closest standard values). The resulting frequency response should be near the same.

This will, of course, reduce the input impedance of the circuit so that must be allowed for by the driving circuit.
