I'm on vacation. The longest vacation I've ever taken. 3-weeks away from home. A week in Cairo annd Giza, a few days exploring the upper Nile and a week cruising on the Nile from Aswan to Luxor.

Now I am sitting on the balcony of my room on the river boat, making a post on ETO with a 4G LTE connection.

We'll be stopping soon to explore a Nubian Temple.

When you go to a bazaar, be aware, very aware of pickpockets.

Also, in those bazaars, haggle the price like your life depends on it.

Otherwise, congratulations. Egypt is one of those places where one feels the smallness of men as one contemplates the enormous and majestic places.
