tell me some advance controllers

hi now I'm doing my final year project:(
My wish do my project in advance controllers :rolleyes:
so plz guide me to find so advance controllers:)
i tried about pic but it is known to all:confused:
ARM controllers but is too cost:confused:
so tell me some others controller family plz...:eek:
 
Advanced for what purpose??
PIC16's are still widely used because they're appropriate for their jobs.

The dsPIC series is 16 bit and has a lot of neat stuff.
There is now a 32-bit PIC product line, it's still very new but they do have some orderable products.
 
If you are actually starting, I would say the 18F family, talking PICs, is the minimum.

But I would start with the 24F or 30F. One of them is still using Vdd = 5V. The rest is all 3,3V but with 5V tolerant I/O pins.

I'm also a student and I'm using ARM
I think ARM would be just fine...
Check This, they have some ARM based machines as well as some introduction documents.
